ScaleBeacon is a website production company based in St. Louis, Missouri. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit this website, complete the Website Inquiry Form, upload project materials, communicate with us, or work with us on a website project.
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, business name, role, email address, phone number, business location, website address, social-media links, project goals, service information, operating details, brand information, questionnaire answers, and other information you choose to submit.
When you upload project materials, we may collect logos, photographs, videos, documents, brand files, policy documents, and the related file names and technical details needed to store and manage those materials.
Our website and infrastructure providers may automatically receive limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, dates and times of access, and security or error logs.
Before a secure form session is created, the Website Inquiry Form uses browser storage to preserve an unfinished draft on your device. After the first section creates a form session, questionnaire answers begin saving to the project system automatically as you continue. Browser storage may also support form recovery or administrative authentication. We do not currently use advertising or behavioral-analytics cookies.
When you use the Text Us feature, the name you enter is used in your browser to prepare a text message. The website does not save that name through the Text Us form. If you send the message, your mobile carrier and messaging application process it, and we receive it as a normal text message.
How we use information
We use information to receive and review website inquiries, communicate with prospective and current clients, recommend project scope, prepare proposals and website plans, produce and manage approved website projects, organize submitted assets, provide support, maintain business records, protect the website and administrative systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and comply with legal obligations.
Submission notifications may include limited project details such as the business name, contact name, email address, submission time, and number of files. Questionnaire answers and uploaded file contents are not included in those notification emails; they remain in the project system.
Website production may use software and AI-assisted production tools to organize project information, prepare or review website plans, content, code, and approved deliverables. When these tools are used, we limit submitted information and approved assets to what is reasonably necessary for the project. Do not submit account passwords, payment-card numbers, or other credentials through the Website Inquiry Form.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to review inquiries, provide services, maintain project and business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention may vary based on the type of information and the status of the project.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect submitted information. Files are stored privately and administrative access is restricted. Questionnaire sessions use a unique access link; anyone with a valid link may be able to reopen that questionnaire, so do not forward or publicly share the link. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your inquiry or project. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, security, backup, accounting, or contractual purposes. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

Age requirements
Website project inquiries and services are intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old and authorized to act for a business. We do not knowingly accept project inquiries from or enter into service agreements with minors. If we learn that a minor submitted personal information through the Website Inquiry Form, we will take reasonable steps to delete it, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
